Jimmy Pasquale was the co-founder and recording guitarist of the Meridian,Mississippi home based group Darryl Vincent and the Flares 1955-1959(Sandy Records)Titles:"Daddy's Goin'Batty"-"Mercy Me"-"Wild Wild Party"-"Because I Love You".(In 1996 The Original Recordings were re-released World Wide on a compilation CD Ace Records,Titled (Gulf Coast Grease)

George Cummings(who named and was the co-founder of the now legendary group "DR.HOOK" joined the FLARES in 1959. In 1960 the band recorded two sides for New Orleans based (KRASH RECORDS ) Little Girl and Unexpectedly

In 1971 the band signed with Astro Records,owned by Jimmie O.Rogers of Mobile,AL.They produced one album,and one single"Chasing A Dream" under the name of "The SunShine Buggs",featuring Darryl Vincent.

The most obscure recordings were recorded at Chess Records/1960 or 61,"Shead No Tears" and "Why Did You Leave Me" background vocals included, Etta James,Larry Williams,Harvey Fuqua of "The MoonGlows".Engineered by Ralp Bass.

Jim's career has expanded over forty years since those early teenage days. Co-Founder of Nashville Recording Studio MAGIC TRACKS with Jazz guitarist Mike Elliott,and business man Charles Tucker in1986.

Jim has co-written with HALL OF FAME singer songwriter Mickey Newbury, Bobby Whitlock of DEREK and THE DOMINOES(Layla),and Grammy Winner Johnny Christopher just to name a few. Nominated in 1983 for the State Song of his home state Ms. "MISSISSIPPI" along with his co-writer Ed Snyder who wrote(Strangers In The Night - Spanish Eyes).

Jimette Publishing was formed in 1986 and changed to J Pasquale Music in 2001.
